Welcome to Richtbar German Shepherds where my dogs are family members and companions first, then show dogs.  I have a small breeding program and have a quality litter every 1 to 3 years.  I breed these litters first and foremost for me.  I will only breed to a correctly structured dog who is x-rayed clear hips and elbows and has a correct temperament.  I try my best to avoid any major health problems that are prevalent in the breed today.  I expect some Champion quality puppies from every litter I breed. 
 
My puppies are pretty to look at, with correct structure, are bred for good health and longevity, solid temperment, intelligence and excellent working ability.  They are raised in my home and sold only to qualified buyers.  A fenced yard or kennel is a MUST!!  These dogs are bred to do it all:  compete in conformation, obedience, agility, herding, rally, etc.
